The Arizona Chapter of IMC is currently seeking dynamic, engaging, and knowledgeable workshop presenters for the 2011 The High Cost of Doing Nothing Workshops.

Our goal is to provide workshops that will appeal to a diverse group of Business Owners, Executives and Managers in the Phoenix area.

Our expectation is that each workshop forum will provide attendees with an empowering experience as they participate.

Also, we request that all workshop presentations are constructed with our theme in mind… The High Cost of Doing Nothing — Or how maintaining Status Quo in the new economy will end up costing your business in the long run.

To submit a Request for Presenting Proposal and Abstract, contact Margaret Jacoby at margaret@mjms.net or call her at 480-924-6101.

CRITERIA

Proposals are solicited for 45-minute presentations that are interactive, creative, dynamic, and feature best practices in business management.

That timeframe will include introductions, presentation material, questions and answers session, and evaluation.

Each presentation must provide a challenging and learning experience. Attendees should leave with specific knowledge and skills about various aspects of the topic and how it relates to their future development.

Presentations should provide attendees with educational value and refrain from promoting a specific business, product, or service. Selling from the platform is strictly prohibited. Display tables are available to presenters at a significantly discounted rate.

Our ideal presenter is:

  • Experienced and comfortable speaking in front of groups, ranging from 20 to 150 people
  • Interested in sharing expertise, real-world strategies and knowledge with other creative professionals
  • Willing to deliver the best possible experience for the audience
  • Interested, schedule permitting, in attending the whole event and engaging with attendees
  • Open to helping spread the word about the event
  • A current member of The Arizona Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants
