IMC USA Committees provide member services and promote achievement of the IMC USA mission. Committee membership is open to all Members, and is encouraged as a way to contribute to the Institute and the consulting profession, as well as to develop skills and grow your professional networks.

The CMC® Certification Chair has overall responsibility for all certification procedures, including uniform operation and proper documentation in the CMC® Certication Committee. This committee is the ISO/IEC 17024:2003 scheme committee for the Certified Management Consultant™.

The Corporate Relations Review Committee (CRRC) evaluates candidates for strategic or business affiliations with IMC USA, considering value to members and alignment with mission.
The Ethics Committee promotes, educates, and enforces ethics among members and promotes ethics across the consulting profession (private group, visible only to IMC USA Ethics Committee members)
The Finance Committee oversees financial activities of IMC USA and its chapters and maintains financial records consistent with applicable regulations and best practices.
The Marketing Committee defines member needs, promotes IMC USA and its activities to the consulting and client communities, and increases awareness of the CMC designation.
The Member Acquisition and Retention Committee develops strategies and manages activities to increase the number and engagement of members and works with the Marketing Committee to increase visibility of IMC USA.
The Professional Development Committee creates content or provides access to resources for development of consulting skills and behaviors for the entire consulting community.
PRET evaluates professional development materials, including curricula, training protocols, and distance learning courses, for their applicability and consistency with IMC mission and needs.
The Recognition and Awards Committee monitors member involvement in IMC activities and recognizes exceptional service and contributions to IMC, the consulting profession and the community.
