Many IMC members demonstrate professionalism and dedication "above and beyond the call of duty” to IMC, the consulting profession, or their clients. These folks deserve recognition and praise. This month, Kudos go to...
Margaret Chock, CMC
Margaret has a PhD. in Computer Science and is the principal of MIB Chock, a firm specializing in IT services for mergers and acquisitions, for litigation and for matters encountered by new or growing companies. In addition, Margaret provides expert witness testimony. As the IMC SoCal "Web Mistress” and all-around IT problem-solver, Margaret’s expertise has been invaluable in maintaining and upgrading SoCal’s webpages on the National website.
As current SoCal Breakfast Meeting Chair, Joe has been an extremely active member of IMC. It’s his job each month to find relevant topics and garner speakers. In addition, Joe starred at one of the breakfasts, presenting a program on "Learning Agility.” He also chairs the IMC SoCal HR SIG. A seasoned HR professional at the helm of The Herold Consulting Group, Joe works with companies to design and implement HR strategies that correspond to that company’s values, strategies and business model.
Robert’s work is currently in the seemingly unlikely combination of Homeland Security and the use of Social Media, Knowledge Management, and Web 2.0 to improve workplace performance. Work demands have kept him on the road a lot recently but he still makes plenty of time for IMC SoCal. In his current stint as Vice President and Treasurer of the chapter, he has helped put it back in the black. He has been active in planning, implementing, and sometimes participating in the dinner events. Robert actively participated in the Chapter’s first Marketing SIG.
Jerry Savin, CMC, FIMC
Known as the fearless leader, Jerry Savin is the President and CEO of Cambridge Technology Consulting Group (CTCG) and the current President of the IMC SoCal Chapter. CTCG breaks the barriers in systems and processes so clients can have the information they need to make timely, informed strategic, operational and financial decisions. As the SoCal president, Jerry oversees the day-to-day operations of the Chapter and liaises with National. He initiated the "Brown Bag” series of IMC consulting seminars and has participated in both Marketing SIGs. With Robert Josefek’s help, the IMC SoCal chapter is running in the black.
Know someone who deserves a kudo? Tell us! Nominations for kudos can be submitted by chapter presidents, fellow IMC-ers, a client, an employee – almost anyone. Two rules: you can’t nominate yourself and the information must be verifiable. Send your kudo nominations to Drumm McNaughton at firstname.lastname@example.org.
