The CMC Accelerator Program

With the new CMC^® Accelerator Program, the Carolinas and Georgia Chapters are offering a unique opportunity for qualified professional consultants to achieve their Certification as Management Consultants. This program, sponsored by NorthStar Management and Agility Consulting, was designed to help participants get immediately on track to complete and submit their certification applications.

Both chapters are running the Accelerator Program in November and December. It includes two 2-hour sessions to help applicants identify the correct CMC path for them, develop their case studies, complete their applications correctly and participate in a mock panel review to strengthen their review skills in advance of their actual panel review. Program tuition for IMC members of $50 keeps the program sessions affordable. Also as part of the program and in celebration of ISO Accreditation, IMC USA is offering members 50% off the regular $350 CMC Application Fee for applications submitted by December 31, 2010.

The Georgia Chapter’s program started on November 5 with eight participants. Manola Robison CMC and Georgia Chapter president, said, "Participants told me after the session that they were energized and committed to submitting their application before the end of December.” She notes that Georgia will be offering a bonus prep session only to those Accelerator Program participants who submit their CMC application by the year-end deadline.

Other Accelerator Program benefits include

· Tutorials from filling out forms to asking for recommendations from clients to practicing tests and oral exams

· Personal log of tasks to keep track of progress

· Seasoned CMC as facilitator and mentor through the program

· Q&A session with recently awarded CMC members
