The Board of Directors of the Institute of Management Consultants USA is the governing body of the Institute. Officers and Operating Committee members are selected by an annual vote of the Institute membership. The Nominating Committee is charged with creating a slate of Officers members each year, and welcomes input from the membership. A Governing Committee oversees adherence to bylaws and evaluates performance of the Board and Executive Staff.

Don Matheson CMC®

Don Matheson CMC® is CEO for NorthStar Management and has provided consulting services to management for over 20 years. NorthStar was originally formed to provide consulting services to companies involved in Mergers, Acquisitions, and Chapter 11 Bankruptcy turnarounds. However, it quickly grew into a powerful resource for any small to mid-sized company looking to improve its operational performance. Don helps CEOs and other C level executives improve their company’s financial performance and strengthen their balance sheets while optimizing the utilization of existing resources.
Don has served as Chair & CEO of IMC USA since May of 2015. His national service began when he joined the IMC National Board as a Director and as Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee in 2011. The IMC membership elected Don to the additional duty of Treasurer in 2012 where he served until May of 2015. He has served IMC in multiple roles including President of the Carolinas Chapter for four years and as its Certification Chair from 2009 until May of 2015. Don was elected Chair of the IMC USA Foundation in 2012 and served in that role until 2015. He is the recipient of the IMC USA 2013 Achievement Award for his financial expertise, strong leadership and ongoing commitment.
Don has extensive Board experience having served on numerous boards including the Georgia Manufacturers Association where he served as Board Member, Treasurer, Vice-Chair and Chair-elect. He served six years on the Board of Directors for the Georgia State Chamber of Commerce before moving to North Carolina. In addition to serving on the Middle Georgia United Way Board, he was Founding Chair of the Heart of Georgia United Way. Don serves on various Business & Economic Advisory Boards at the state & national level.
Loraine Huchler CMC®, P.E.

Loraine Huchler has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and is a licensed Professional Engineer who has presented and published numerous technical papers. She previously worked in the Technical Marketing Group of BetzDearborn Water Management (now GE Infrastructure, Water and Process Technologies) to support industrial water chemical treatment products. She publishes a quarterly column on water treatment for an international trade journal, Hydrocarbon Processing and has published her first of a series of four books, Operating Practices for Industrial Water Management, Influent Water Systems, Gulf Publishing, Inc.
Ms. Huchler belongs to AIChE and NACE and has served three terms as the president of the New Jersey section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). She served as the president of the IMC USA New Jersey chapter, currently serves as the Counselor for the student SWE section at Rutgers University and is the director of the Water Treatment Course for the NACE Liberty Bell Corrosion Course. In her spare time, Loraine manages the computer lab and teaches Sunday School using computers. She also serves on her church's Buildings & Grounds Committee, providing engineering expertise for projects at this historic property.
Loraine Huchler is the founder and president of MarTech Systems, Inc., a firm that assesses and manages risk in water-related utility systems. MarTech’s technical consulting services optimize the water and energy circuits in influent, steam, cooling and waste water systems in manufacturing and commercial facilities. Other services include technology feasibility studies, designing system upgrades or equipment replacement, conducting water conservation and water reuse projects, training operations personnel and serving as an expert witness in patent infringement and equipment failure litigation.
Dennis Schumaker CMC®

Dennis Schumaker has over 30 years of business and industry experience with both private and public sector clients, including extensive experience in the electric, gas, telephone, and water utility industries. His consulting experience encompasses expertise in executive management and staffing, strategic and corporate planning, corporate organization and structure, project management, business process re-engineering, materials management, engineering and construction and operations and maintenance (electric, telephone, gas, and water facilities), information technology, cost allocation and affiliated transactions, and quality assurance.
He began his career as a Design Engineer with the Bechtel Corporation, after which he joined Theodore Barry & Associates (TB&A) as a Manager. He acquired more than eight years of consulting experience with TB&A before becoming one of the original founders of Schumaker & Company in 1986.
Secretary & Executive Director of IMC USA
Gregory Brooks is President at AMC Source, and Executive Director of IMC USA. His primary role is to provide senior level collaboration with leaders to advance the association’s mission, vision and goals. With more than 35 years experience, Greg has a proven track record of working with volunteer leaders to develop sustainable membership value, relevancy, stability and growth. He has helped many state, regional, national, and international trade associations, professional societies and non-profit and organizations improve their infrastructures and processes through leadership collaboration, strategy, support and full-service management.
Education includes International Honor Society - Phi Theta Kappa, National Honor Society – Lambda Pi Eta, Florida Atlantic University President’s and Dean’s List, Communications and Marketing. Greg is an active member and volunteer leader of the American Society of Association Executives, Florida Society of Association Executives and the AMC Institute. Greg gives back to the community through his leadership and volunteer roles at many organizations, especially where children are concerned.
Parag Ambardekar CMC®

Parag Ambardekar, CMC, has been providing consulting and advisory services for over 30 years in various roles as founder/CEO of Dash Group, Inc. and as an executive/senior manager in Accenture, IBM, Hughes Electronics, Computer Sciences Corporation, and Carney, Inc. His employers and clients have ranged in size from start-ups to multi-billion dollar institutions.
He has managed operating budgets of $50 million and staff of 150 plus professionals. In his 30-year career as a management consultant and advisor to Fortune 500 executives, Federal agency executives, and small business owners. He has worked in multiple industries, a variety of organizational cultures, and many different environments. Parag believes that success is dependent on the ability of management to adapt to the changing business environment and capitalize on the opportunities it presents.
Parag Ambardekar is a certified management consultant. He applies his experience in strategic planning, business transformation, program management, and technology integration as needed to identify and address strategy execution challenges in operations, business processes, or technology that may be affecting successful execution.

Statement of My Candidacy for IMC USA Board Member Position
IMC USA is the only professional association with a national presence that caters exclusively to Management Consultants. With an overwhelming majority of its members as solo practitioners over 45 years of age, it is susceptible to membership declines as baby boomers retire. IMC USA board has been addressing the challenge with many new initiatives to promote membership and financial viability. I would like to join the IMC USA board to:
1. Devise, lead, and support initiatives that increase recurring non-dues revenue
2. Attract mid-career management consultants as members
I am confident that I will be a valuable addition to the board given my background.

Angela Dingle, President and CEO of Ex Nihilo Management, LLC, is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC®) with over twenty years of experience in management, business leadership, IT governance, risk management, compliance, software engineering and quality assurance. She holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Bowie State University, Bowie, MD and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from DeVry Institute, Columbus, OH and is Certified in the Governance of Information Technology (CGEIT).
Angela serves on the Board of Directors for the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) Education Foundation, and the Advisory Board for Enterprising Women Magazine. She is a WIPP National Partner and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Juan Negroni is a consultant, speaker and coach, and has guided management teams in pinpointing and eliminating performance barriers and getting work teams reengaged. He has done this before, during and after labor strife and organizational change. Contributing to his successes with diverse groups ranging from presidents to porters are a facility for identifying issues in the seed, language skills and a multicultural aptitude.
A member of the National Speakers Association he had used his facilitation and training skills globally in sessions on strategy formulation, management and supervisory development, ethics, team building and labor relations in union and union free organizations.
In his entertaining presentation – WINNING by Defaulting, Dodging or Doing: My Spanish Harlem Days Takeaways for Individuals Making Better Personal Choices and Business Decisions - Juan shares lessons learned from growing up in New York City’s El Barrio along with his corporate and consulting experiences…and how the latter can help individuals dig up their past winners for choosing smartly personally and professionally.
Certified in the Clark Wilson 360 Program and the Hogan Assessment Systems, his corporate and consulting assignments have covered 70 plus cities internationally. Writing credits consist of business articles, wine columns and a children’s book.
Public service activities range from mentoring 5th and 6th to implementing as his town’s School Board Chair the Harvard Law School collective bargaining model. He has appeared on CBS’s Public Eye telecast on business intuition.

James H. Park

Jim attended the University of Michigan and San Jose State College, receiving a B.A. in Broadcast Communication. After graduation he began working for non-profit service agencies and became the Executive Director of an agency providing services to Senior citizens in Sonoma County, California. He later went on to be the Director of the Sonoma County Commission on Aging. While in this position, he received a call from Intel Corporation and relocated with Intel to Portland, Oregon to accept a position in manufacturing. In 1985 Jim left Intel and went to work for a consulting firm who specialized on providing training and consulting products to the utility industry.
After 18 years of managing and leading in non-profits, private industry, utilities and government, Jim established his consulting practice in 1988. Relying on his intimate knowledge of industry practices and continuous improvement methodologies, Jim has worked with clients around the country to increase performance, maximize leadership effectiveness and improve employee job satisfaction through his 3 “E” Performance Model. Jim is a Master Trainer, Certified Coach and expert facilitator.
He has authored more than 30 custom training programs covering topics including, project management, process improvement, systematic problem solving and leadership effectiveness. In his training programs, Jim relies heavily on experiential methods to create a learning environment for his participants so that they can apply what they learn upon returning to work.
As a coach Jim works with Executives and Managers to increase their ability to lead and influence their employees to increased levels of performance. He uses a variety of assessment methods to give his clients a thorough understanding of their skills, strengths and development opportunities. In partnership with his clients he creates development plans that result in improved leadership effectiveness.

He draws mainly upon his experience with Big4 consulting firms (EY and KPMG) in Greece and Small Business Development Centers in the U.S. during his 1st decade. Raymond Suarez CMC®

Ray Suarez specializes in strategic management, organizational development, and corporate finance. Since 1992, he has been President of Quality Management International, LLC, consulting to over eighty private, public and nonprofit organizations in understanding, planning and achieving their growth and change driven objectives.
Prior to founding QMI, Ray was Vice President of Broadcast Capital Fund, Inc., Senior Planner for New and International Business Development at CBS, Inc, Economics and Commercial Officer for the U.S. Department of State building and promoting U.S. trade and investment in Nigeria and forecasting Nigerian economic performance; and Financial Analyst with the First National Bank of Boston.
Ray joined IMC USA in 1994, becoming a CMC in 2002. He served many roles in the National Capital Region Chapter as a 4 time Program Chair, Membership Chair, and President (2012-Present). He has served on several National committees including: Awards and Nominations, the Academic Affairs, the National Membership, and the Chapter President’s Council. In 2013, IMC NCR was named IMCUSA Chapter of the Year, and Ray the recipient of the IMCUSA Chapter Leadership Award.
He is also a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), achieving Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR). He has served on the Boards of the National Association of Investment Companies' Management Consulting Group, the Grantmakers in Aging Hurricane Fund for the Elderly, and as director, advisor and principal to numerous investment enterprises as a venture capital professional. His experience with volunteer and non-profit organizations including AARP, Special Olympics International, United Way, Congressional Black Caucus, American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, National Congress for Community Economic Development, National Association of Counties, American Urological Association, Reproductive Health Technologies Project, College Summit, Grantmakers in Aging, National Association of Investment Companies.
