How to keep your pipeline full &
Gain follow-on engagements

Consultant A: "How's business?"
Consultant B: "Fabulous... I'm really busy!"
The reality: "Who am I kidding? I'm starving!"

When you are busy doing client engagements, your marketing efforts lapse. When you complete the engagements, your income dries up and you jump-start your marketing efforts. It is the familiar "feast or famine" dilemma that plagues most independent consultants.

IMC members are known for their willingness to freely share their ideas with their peers. The March Forum will be an exciting demonstration of consultants helping consultants.

Here is your opportunity to contribute your best solutions and to hear the many different ways your peers attempt to smooth out the "feast or famine" cycle. It is very likely that you will learn about a couple of new ways to address your own pipeline situation. Others are sure to benefit from your ideas. It will be a win-win evening for everyone!

You will also pick up new ideas from those who have learned how to gain additional engagements from existing and past clients.
Client follow-on assignments should be easier to develop, because you have developed a level of trust and the client already knows the quality of your work. Are you pushing the right buttons at the right time?

Here is a great opportunity to discover new ways to smooth out the peaks and valleys and gain more continuity. Bring along your best ideas about how to maintain a "frontlog" of prospective engagements and to gain follow-on work with your good clients.

Watch the idea sparks fly as attendees relate successful approaches. Experience the satisfaction of seeing your own ideas take root.
