Dennis McCuistion is a former bank CEO who speaks internationally and consults with financial institutions and American business CEOs on top management issues.
Yet he may be best known as the host and executive producer of the award-winning McCuistion program which airs on PBS television.
His probing interview style has captured the wisdom and insights of such national political and business leaders as author Tom Peters, former Comptroller General of the United States David Walker, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, presidential candidate Ron Paul, business mogul Steve Forbes, and father of the internet, Vint Cerf, to name a few.
Among McCuistion’s award-winning shows were "How to Make Your Kid a Millionaire,” and "What Really Happened in Oklahoma City?”
McCuistion has been an instructor for the American Institute of Banking for twenty years and has been a faculty member for the Graduate School of Banking of the South, the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin, and the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the National Speakers Association.
Why the Credit Crisis is Only the Tip
of U.S. Financial Woes
Presented by PBS TV Host,
While all eyes have been on our country’s financial meltdown on Wall Street, the principles behind the Federal Reserve and the U. S. Treasury actions have had little or no scrutiny. In fact, the proper role of government and its relationship to markets has been sorely overlooked in the careening back-and-forth,
out-of-control panics of Secretary Paulson and
Fed Chairman Bernanke.
And, for good measure, there is one more inconvenient fact that’s been overlooked by the media and the politicians—the fact that the Federal Government is broke—insolvent—in debt—right up to the taxpayers’ eyeballs. The numbers are almost incomprehensible.
In this "wake-up-call” presentation, McCuistion examines the size of the problem, when it occurred and what it means to future generations. McCuistion, known for his probing of topical issues, is deep in his knowledge and insights of this issue and he lays it on the line with authenticity, facts and conviction. Much like the style of his award-winning talk show, he invites audience interaction as he probes causes and ways to address the fiscal tsunamis of profligate government spending and debt.We are now meeting at the Doubletree Hotel - 4099 Valley View Lane, Dallas (North I-635 frontage road west of Midway).
