New Mexico Inaugurates Chapter’s Hall of Fame With First Inductee and IMC USA Member Jane Blume CMC®
WASHINGTON, DC – The Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC USA), is pleased to announce that its former marketing committee vice chair, newsletter editor, chapter officer, PR lead and Certified Management Consultant®, Jane Blume, was selected as the first inductee in The Association for Women in Communications-New Mexico Chapter’s Hall of Fame.
Blume is the award-winning owner and principal of Desert Sky Communications, an Albuquerque, New Mexico based public relations firm that specializes in strategic advisement and planning and tactical implementation. She has also served as a PR consultant to IMC USA.
The Association for Women in Communications is a professional association that champions the advancement of women across all communications disciplines by recognizing excellence, promoting leadership and positioning its members at the forefront of the evolving communications era.
Blume is a two-time past president of the New Mexico Chapter, was a member of its Board of Directors for over a decade, and is a long-standing member and past chair of the Program Committee.
In addition to her membership in AWC-NM’s Hall of Fame, other awards she and her firm have received include Acquisition International magazine’s M & A Award: USA PR firm of the Year and the U.S. Small Business Administration’s New Mexico Home-Based Business Champion.
