The Future of Consulting – Understanding the Client’s Perspective

Moderated by: Charles Dormer, MSOD, MPhil, MInstLM.

This “Buzz Session” is the fifth and final session in our series under the “The Future of Consulting” theme. In this interactive session we will start with a presentation of the results from a brief survey highlighting the client’s perspective on using consultants.  We will augment the discussion with review of the key topics explored in this year’s IMC meetings.  In this session, we will consider the following questions:

  • What are the trends in business and industry that could change the way consultants are used?
  • What kinds of consultants will be used in the future?
  • How will clients find and use consultants in the future and will it differ from today?

The discussion will focus not only on the trends but also how consultants can meet the challenges of clients' changing needs.  Please join us and share your knowledge, experience and views of the future as you and your clients are approaching it.
