Institute of Management Consultants
Orange County IMC Chapter
Don't miss our May 13, 2010 Orange County Breakfast!
How to make it work for you as
a consultant, not against you.
With Grace Judson, President, Svaha Concepts
Thursday, May 13, Mimi's Café, Irvine, 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.
Corporate politics is all around you, but it's seldom discussed openly. It's the "Elephant in the Conference Room." While big and often destructive, it's also a powerful force that can be made to work for our advantage as consultants -- but it first needs to be recognized and harnessed.

Join us on Thursday, May 13, as Grace Judson explores different aspects of company politics, and what we as consultants need to be aware of to survive and prosper. Using real-world examples, Gracewill cover the following, and more:

  • How client politics affects employees and consultants.
  • Four tools that assure survival of consultants in a political environment.
  • Actions steps and support structures to tame company politics.
  • How to communicate safely with all parties.
  • Ethics for consultants in a political world.

If you want to survive and strive in a political corporate world, don't miss Grace Judson's fresh, content-packed, interactive presentation and workshop on May 13. This will be a learning experience not to be missed regardless of your specialty and also an opportunity for you to network with consultants and other self-employed professionals in the Greater Orange County area. Anticipate a lively discussion, and be prepared to share some of your experiences in the corporate political world. All consultants are welcome, not just IMC members.
