Workshop #1: Sharpen Your Aim at the Target: Effective Communications to Reach Your Market

Communication Experts: Deanna Thompson and Don Redding

So much change, so many options – it can be hard to know if you’re reaching your target in today’s evolving business world. That’s why it’s critical that you take aim with a plan. From A (know your audience) to V (the impact of video), we’ll share key strategies to help you tap your market effectively via web, social media, traditional media and digital communications.

Deanna Thompson is the owner of Thompson Communications, a strategic communications firm based in Greensboro. A storyteller at heart, Thompson enjoys helping clients convey their messages through targeted marketing, advertising, web and other communication initiatives. A former hospital public relations director and state Capitol newspaper reporter, she brings a deep understanding of public perceptions, the power of words and the changing media landscape to her work.     Don Redding is the President and CEO of the High Point-based Redding Communications, dedicated to providing results-oriented advertising and marketing services to clients across a wide range of industries. With over 15 years at the helm of Redding Communications, Don has a keen understanding of the role that print, design and web graphic elements play in marketing, as well as a strong expertise in video messaging and production.

Thompson Communications and Redding Communications partner frequently on projects.
