Last month Online Communications and LinkedIn expert Margie Hanson shared her tips and techniques for connecting with potential clients and referral sources. She shared her number one secret  for getting results, provided how-to’s and answered questions. There was so much interaction, we ran out of time. Our attendees asked for another session, and thankfully Margie is available.

So, please join us on May 21 for Part Two ofConnect with Prospects and Referral Sources Online, in which Margie will continue to educate us on how to successfully start and build relationships online. You don’t want to miss this session and our speaker Margie Hanson, back by popular demand!

About Our Speaker, Margie Hanson

Margie Hanson is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, who has nearly two decades of consulting experience as owner of Communicating – Today’s Way, Inc.

Margie started Today’s Way in 2000 as a website design and content development business. She soon began adding trainings for creating effective 1-to-1 email communications and for creating online newsletters with CRM functionality (enabling targeted communications and relationship building). Today Margie also provides custom training and courses that empower business owners to excel at and get results from their online marketing. 

Margie Hanson spent 25+ years in corporate America as the new voice and data networking industry evolved. She treasures having a front row seat for much of the action that led to the platform we enjoy and use today. Working with Fortune 1000 companies throughout the United States as a sales and marketing professional, her responsibilities included sales and network design for the first public packet switching networks as well as being a member of the very first team of sales people for Cisco Systems. Margie indicates she was literally working with the internet when it was just a dirt road.

Our monthly events are not presentations in the traditional sense – they are conversations, facilitated discussions, with participants sharing their knowledge and experience.

Our goal is to:

  • Grow the competence of the participating consultants through the information and insights gained during each session.
  • Focus on issues clients worry about.
  • Engender community, learning, mentoring and thoughtful exchanges, and nurture relationships that lead to collaboration and business growth.

•   We use technology. Up to 100 individuals can participate on screen. One can also phone in.

•   Sessions are one hour long and typically begin at 2 pm EDT but we go on the air one half hour earlier.  This provides attendees the opportunity to get to know each other… and as stated earlier to engender the community of peer-spirit IMC is committed to promoting.
