Add Expert Witnessing to Your Consulting Practice

An expert witness panel discussion led by Jeff Gotro

An expert witness is someone who is recognized by a court as an authority on a topic and has knowledge beyond that accessible to the average person. Many consultants have positioned themselves as an expert witness in their field and have been able to make expert witnessing a lucrative component of their consulting practice.

To learn more about expert witnessing, join us on July 12 as Jeff Gotro, a director of the IMC OC Chapter and himself an expert witness, leads a panel on the business aspects of expert witnessing. Even if you do not intend to become an expert witness, this will be an eye-opening presentation on our legal system and its use of expert witnesses.

We’ll be discussing:

1. What is an expert witness and what is expected from them
How expert witnesses charge for their services
The major expert witness categories
Expert witness opportunities for management consultants
How to get started as an expert witness in your field
How to become known as an expert witness and build your reputation

Don't miss this practice-building meeting, which will be filled with practical examples and will also a great networking experience with your fellow consultants in the greater Orange County area.

Led by an all-star panel of expert witnesses...

Jeff Gotro, PhD, Panel Leader and Vice President of IMC OC Chapter. President of InnoCentrix, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in Polymer Innovation.
