Advanced LinkedIn for Consultants:
Leverage New Features to Grow Your Business

By Jeff Gotro, Ph.D., President & Founder, InnoCentrix, LLC

LinkedIn is the fastest growing social media site dedicated solely to professionals. There are over 175 million members, and over 75% have a college degree or better. 82 companies in the Fortune 100 use LinkedIn for corporate hiring. Did that grab your attention? LinkedIn isn’t like Facebook or Twitter where you can connect with your friends and share photo’s and your latest adventures. LinkedIn is used to do business!

There have been significant improvements in LinkedIn over the last year. Join us on October 11, as Jeff Gotro provides insights into using these advanced features to get consulting business. Key topics to be covered are:

  • Brief review of profile basics
  • How to optimize your profile for search (using your 1 to 2 most important keywords)
  • How to use the new Endorsements feature
  • How to build a Company Page to highlight your services
  • How to participate in Groups to leverage your expertise
  • How to showcase your expertise using Answers
All are welcome, not just IMC members. This will not only be a great learning experience about LinkedIn, but also an opportunity for you to network with consultants and other self-employed professionals in the Greater Orange County area. Bring your questions about LinkedIn and other social media.
