How to Use Social Media to Target
Potential Consulting Clients

With Gary Calvaneso, Marketing Expert, Author and Speaker

LinkedIn and other social media are now well known as means to be found by potential consulting clients. But did you know that social media can also be used to target and penetrate specific companies that you have already identified as you potential consulting clients?

To learn how to use social media to target clients, join us at our IMC Orange County breakfast meeting on May 9, as Gary Galvaneso, marketing, branding and social media expert, shares the use of a social media process that he has developed over several years as part of his volunteer work at the Career Coaching and Counseling Ministry of Saddleback Church. While his efforts have been based to help people "in transition," they are equally applicable to self-employed professionals. Gary's Targeting Companies process will help you to:

  • Create a targeted marketing plan to identify your transferable skills, experience and goals, and relate them to clients.
  • Research the companies and industries that you decide to target.
  • More effectively use LinkedIn and social media search tools.
  • Leverage your network of social contacts as your resources
All are welcome, not just IMC members. This will not only be a great learning experience, but also an opportunity for you to network with your fellow consultants and other self-employed professionals in the Greater Orange County area. Think about the potential consulting clients that you would like to target using social media.
