The Seven Deadly Myths of Consulting

with Jan Stefanski, President, Janus Consulting

What is reality and what are myths about consulting?

Using it as a springboard for discussion, Jan Stefanski will overview the Consulting to Management (C2M) article "Do You Still Believe in the Seven Deadly Myths (of Consulting)?” and add some of his own.  He will then facilitate a discussion on your experiences on the stated myths and what you believe might be additional myths.  Expect to participate in a lively discussion, learn a little, and maybe even debunk a few of the myths that you now accept!

Jan, co-founder of Janus Consulting, has over 35 years experience in the planning, design and implementation of various business solutions in a wide variety of industries and clients. He creatively assists clients in achieving their operational objectives or plan for the future.  He "Makes fuzzy things clear" by providing services in three areas: operational effectiveness (process mapping and associated change management); effectiveness of teams and individuals (coaching and training); and problem definition, analysis and solutions generation (facilitation).  Today, all of Jan’s new clients come to him via referrals.
