How to do Business with Cultures outside of the US

With Bill Edwards, International Business Expert
and CEO of Edwards Global Services, Inc.

Thursday, September 8, Mimi's Café, Irvine, 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.

A key to successful international consulting is to understand the role of culture in international business. Whatever sector you are operating in, cultural differences will have a direct impact on your ability to sell and sustain your services. Improving your cultural awareness can be of major benefit to your practice whether your assignment is abroad or here in the US with international clients.

To learn about differences in international culture, joins us on September 8 at our IMC Orange County Business Forum as Bill Edwards, Internationals Business Expert and CEO of Edwards Global Services, Inc., shares his experiences in setting up franchises in over two dozen countries. These includes ways of doing business, dealing with governments, and appealing to the general public. Expects lots for first-hand war stories. Topics will include:

  • Cultural differences that can make or break you your business proposition.
  • How to avoid losing international clients due to cultural mistakes.
  • How to impress international clients with your local knowledge.
  • Must-know issues in dealing with international clients.
  • And a lot more...

All are welcome, not just IMC members. This will not only be a great learning experience about international consulting, but also an opportunity for you to network with your fellow consultants and business leaders in the Greater Orange County area. Be prepared to share your experiences in doing international business.
