“Consultants’ Roundtable: Grow Your Consulting
Practice With Speaking, Writing, Networking
and Professional Certification”


A roundtable discussion by a panel of experienced consultants will examine steps you can take to steadily build your consulting practice at the IMC USA SoCal Chapter’s breakfast meeting on May 4. The discussion will take place at The Lakes Golf Course in El Segundo.

Topics will include a number of specific tools that are readily available to consultants. Among these tools are skills such as speaking, writing, and networking. When used together in a coordinated fashion, these skills help to raise your visibility in the marketplace and attract clients. Obtaining the Certified Management Consultant CMC professional designation assures potential clients that your peers have validated your experience, ethics and capabilities.

Participants in this session can expect to hear several perspectives on the following topics:

  • How writing articles, blogs and books is key to becoming a thought leader in your area
  • How to network effectively in business and professional settings

  • The benefits of being a Certified Management Consultant
  • How adhering to IMC’s Code of Ethics differentiates you from the competition
