  Management Consultants Forum Announcement

How Coaching Fits in Management Consulting Engagements

Are you curious about the apparently growing popularity of ‘Executive Coaching’? How does it impact your business? For example, is coaching something you could or should offer to your clients alongside your other capabilities, or is it better left to specialist coaches? Our balanced panel of coaching experts will provide points of view and take your further questions. They range from people who run successful firms focused exclusively on coaching, to management consultants who have added coaching to their offerings, either by design or in response to client situations.

     ● What are the key differences between coaching and consulting?
     ● What particular skills and techniques do coaches use?
     ● Does coaching generally produce results for clients that exceed costs?
     ● What to do when your client sponsor or project manager needs coaching
     ● When can you be an effective coach to your client, and when not?
     ● How to introduce a suitable coach to your client and then continue your own
      work successfully.

Panelists: John Deleray, Deleray & Associates; Laurie Link, Resource Link Corporation; Nancy Polk, Career Passages; Diane Siegel, Livingston Siegel Associates; Dan Swanson, InnovaQuest, Inc.
