Global Sourcing: Opportunities in a Flattening World

- "In theory, it is becoming possible to buy, off the shelf, practically any function you need to run a company.”

- "We can compete and create great American jobs," vows CEO Robert Chapman [mid-size company], "but not without offshoring."

Opportunities abound for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). BPO is an innovative business strategy that outsources non-core processes to reduce costs and increase overall customer satisfaction. Local and offshore outsourcing opportunities abound!

BPO strategies apply to small and mid-size clients as well as to
the industry giants! The BPO strategy affects all consulting disciplines. As management consultants, we need to understand how to analyze business processes, then help our clients design a basic approach to outsourcing opportunities that yield significant operational improvements and added competitive advantages.

Learn from a global expert. Using his extensive experience in the global business community and case histories from the vanguard, Mr. Vohra will lead our group in a discussion of Business Process Outsourcing and how recognized companies are using this important global strategy to leverage their core competencies while controlling and containing costs.

Mr. Vohra places strong emphasis on the added value consultants create by helping clients assess their "value and supply chains."
Mr. Vohra will use case studies and operational models to show how consultants and client firms create sustainable efficiencies in production and operations while maintaining customer satisfaction, competitiveness, and preserving intellectual property in today's global marketplace.

This session will be particularly useful to consultants and companies who have not yet engaged in Business Process Outsourcing or Offshoring, and who may be considering the possibilities.

Don't miss this illuminating session! Mr. Vohra will inform and enlighten you no matter where you are in relation to Business Process Outsourcing strategy, business models or process consulting.
