Why Spa Consultants Make SpaEquip Their First Call

Simply put, consultants turn to SpaEquip to save considerable time and money. SpaEquip offers more than the widest selection of the latest in spa equipment and supplies - they offer over 20 years of expertise that the world’s best spa consultants have come to depend on when they start a project. Consultants save time by taking advantage of the deep knowledge of spa equipment provided, and the preferred rates available through our spa consultant network.

The scope of a spa consultant’s contract requires them to be an expert in many areas. For some of those areas, SpaEquip offers specialized expertise and ‘back office’ support, including accounting, competitive market analysis, design and redesign, AutoCAD support, up-to-the-minute knowledge of what’s new in spa equipment and supplies, and technical specifications for all equipment.

Part of their extensive services available include the following:

1) Floor plan support and feed back as needed. SpaEquip can invite clients to view a floor plan online to:

• add equipment symbols to plans

• discuss the overall flow

• discuss equipment needs and related MEP specs

• make on-the-spot adjustments they can approve and later take back to the architect for implementation

2) Develop FFE and OSE standards and specs – mixing and matching items to their preference so they don’t have to maintain the data

3) Create FFE and OSE lists/budgets to support the accounting of future projects

4) Update all lists to current information and pricing

5) Develop custom E-Spec Books (see below for details),

6) Include set up and post delivery services to save time

As another added value, SpaEquip will create an E-Spec book that is customized for each consultant. The books always show SpaEquip as the source for all purchases, but for consultants we work with often, we will "brand” the book to appear as their work with their logo at the bottom and add them to the "About the Authors” section.

Typically, SpaEquip does not charge consultants for these services, and realize the benefit when the consultant’s clients purchase goods and services from them. While SpaEquip realizes that consultants can’t decide for their clients who they purchase from, they do ask consultants to share the client’s feedback to know of any concerns, so they can be addressed, and perhaps the package adjusted to reflect the best value and emerge as the best choice.

SpaEquip proudly supports the success of the world’s finest spa consultants and are careful to not compete with their hard working consulting friends! SpaEquip has a policy to not offer any pre-opening analysis or operational consulting. They are occasionally asked by architects and spa developers to support their design team to better understand our FFE selections and specifications, but hese services come with a fee designed to encourage clients to instead employ a spa consultant who will add their expertise and will include these services in their scope of work.
