IMC USA Consultant Directory User Guide

Welcome to the new IMC USA Consultant Directory. Whether you are a business looking for a trusted advisor or an IMC USA member managing your professional listing, this guide will help you navigate our new platform.

How to Find a Consultant (Public & Members)

The directory is fully accessible to the general public via the IMC USA website, and to members via the Consultant Portal.

💡 Pro-Tip: When you click View Profile on a consultant, it will open in a new browser tab. To return to your search results, simply close that tab or click back to your original browser tab.

Using the Search Box (Keyword Search)

The search box scans two specific sections of a consultant’s profile: their Intro and their Consulting Specialty.

1. Type your first keyword into the search box. 
2. Click the Add Term button. 
3. Repeat for any additional keywords. See example of search for consultant with “strategy/planning” and “finance” experience below:
   

4. Scroll to the bottom of the pop-up window and click Show all matching members.

Using Filters

If you are looking for a consultant in a specific location or with a specific credential (like a CMC®), use Filters along with the Search Box. 

• To filter by Designation/Membership Type:
1. Click the All Filters dropdown.
2. Select Membership to filter for specific categories, such as Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
   
   

• To filter by Location:

1. Click the All Filters dropdown and select Location.
2. Click All Countries and choose United States.
3. Click All States/Provinces to narrow it down to a specific state or province.
   
   

• To Reset: Click the first dropdown filter and select All Filters to clear your search.
