Committees

Committees support the mission and strategic objectives of IMC USA.

Volunteering on a committee is open to all members and is encouraged as a way to contribute to the Institute and the consulting profession, and to develop leadership skills and grow professional networks.

Executive

Responsible for actions between board meetings or critical business with certain limitations. This committee is open only to national board members.

Engagement

Actively recruits, retains, engages, and welcomes new members to the association.

Certification

Establishes standards and issues the Certified Management Consultant® (CMC®) designation.

Academy

Develops and delivers educational programming.

Chair: Loraine Huchler CMC®

Recognition & Awards

Identifies members and volunteers to be recognized during the annual awards celebration for service excellence within the institute and profession.

Board Liaison: David Norman CMC®-AF, FIMC

Technology

Leads technology implementation and innovation as essential components of IMC USA strategy and operations.

Marketing

Provides strategic support for all marketing and communications efforts.

CMC

Finance

Responsible for monitoring the annual budget and financial performance of the institute. This committee is by board appointment only.

Ethics

Oversees all ethics-related matters, including standards, issues, and resolutions.

Nominating

Responsible for recruiting and vetting board candidates and the election process.

Chair: Loraine Huchler CMC®

Committee Chairs are appointed by Board Chair/CEO and are affirmed by the Board of Directors.

Committee volunteers are appointed by each Committee Chair.
