E., CMC^®, FIMC. The Lifetime Achievement Award is one of the highest honors the organization can make other than being designated a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC). Evaluation for recognition includes the individual’s exceptional contribution to IMC USA on a national level, the individual’s exceptional contribution to the professional management consulting profession and the individual’s exceptional contribution to his or her community.

IMC USA’s Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes a member who, over the course of his/her career, makes an exceptional contribution to the management consulting profession and/or to IMC USA. Loraine Huchler is a Certified Management Consultant with IMC USA and currently serves as the Chair of the Academy. She is an instructor for the IMC USA course that teaches the fundamentals of management consulting, Mastering Management Consulting (MMC) and is author and facilitator for the IMC USA introductory course for management consulting, QuickStart. She is also the Chair of the Nominating Committee. She served two terms as President of the New Jersey IMC chapter, Chair of the Chapter Presidents Council, a National Board Director, followed by a term as Chair and CEO of IMC USA.

For 27 years, Loraine has run a highly successful consulting practice that assesses and manages risk in water-related utility systems. She currently serves as the Chair of the Water Treating Committee sponsored by the Cooling Technology Institute. She has published a technical book and continues to publish peer-reviewed articles and technical papers. She serves on the editorial board of an engineering trade publication. Ms. Huchler has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York and is licensed as a Professional Engineer.
