An IT Program Manager and Technical Consultant, Holly leverages her expertise in people and program leadership, SDLC, Agile, change management, technical communications, and stakeholder management to deliver high-quality solutions for clients. As a Certified Management Consultant®, Holly joins thousands of CMCs worldwide. The award of the CMC designation is recognition of professionalism, high standards of practice, proven core competencies, and ethical practices in consulting.

About L. Holly Kollman CMC®

Holly has over 15 years of experience in organizational transformation and change management, business analysis, and program management. She has a strong ability to lead national interdisciplinary integrated working groups and facilitate complex decision-making processes with diplomacy. Holly has a proven track record of developing and maintaining effective client relationships, creating user guides and process maps, reengineering business processes, and recommending architecture improvements. Her Agile Fundamentals, Product Ownership, and Product Management certifications, along with her Lean Six Sigma White Belt, demonstrate her commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

In addition, Holly is an avid volunteer who has provided both technical expertise and photography services to a variety of organizations. She held a one-year position on the Minnesota State University, Mankato, Women in Leadership Program Advisory Board, a two-year term on the AAMI Technology Management Council. Holly is currently on the Board of Directors of the North Central Biomed Association (NCBA), where she held both Vice President and President positions. She volunteers her technical expertise to Global Health Ministries supporting their medical equipment maintenance and preparedness for shipment to Tanzania. She provides photography services to organizations like Fur Ever Home Rescue, Lakes Center for Youth and Families, and Akeley Regional Emergency Shelter. Most recently she contributed her expertise to the IMC USA Strategy Committee.

Currently residing in the US, Holly will be relocating with her family to Christchurch, New Zealand in early May. She is hoping to continue working with Institutes of Management Consultants as she moves abroad and has already contacted IMC NZ to see how she is able to contribute and hopefully meet other CMCs.

About the Certified Management Consultant® Designation

The Certified Management Consultant (CMC^®) mark is awarded by IMC USA to consultants who have achieved a high level of performance. This includes professional standards in technical competency, ethics, global standards in consulting competencies, professional behavior, client and project management, and personal conduct. Consultants do not have to be a member of IMC USA to apply for the CMC®. To qualify for the CMC^®, consultants apply with proof of their experience, a four-year college education (or the equivalent), client references , and written summaries of consulting engagements. The applicants take written and oral examinations to demonstrate understanding of the management consulting process and ethical aspects of consulting. These are defined in IMC USA’s Competency Framework and the IMC Code of Ethics.
